National Candy Corn Day

  • Drinking: Cola with a generous slice of lime
Appearantly today[October 30th] National Candy Corn Day. Over at [link] I found out about this and other unusual observations. Today is also Mischief Night so take care when you're TPing your neighbor's house or writing obscene things on their walkways. ;)

In addition to being Halloween tomorrow it is also Increase your psychic powers day and( not surprisingly) Carve a Pumpkin Day.

Candy Corn was created in the late 19th century and became associated with Halloween around 1898.

What's stupifying are those who just bite off the tips of candy corn, like the yellow bottom area, because "It's their favorite part" when in fact it's all one thing: Food colored corn syrup. The same ingredients also can be shaped and colored into various other items like those little fat pumpkins, little "Indian" corns, and even little black bats.

So grab a handful of candy corn but try not to egg anyone's house or car, K'? :rofl::rofl::rofl:
